ENTRY-LEVEL TRAINING 

As New Zealand's leading forestry region, the central North Island and Bay of Plenty has numerous training options and training providers.

The courses below are entry-level, suited to for school leavers or people just starting a practical career in forestry. On completion, students will be ready to start work, usually in silviculture (planting and tending trees).
